Senior QA Automation Engineer – AWS, Salesforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Architect and execute an automated testing framework that encompasses both our web application hosted on AWS and our interconnected Salesforce native workflows.

• Automate comprehensive user journeys that span multiple platforms (for instance, actions initiated in our cloud web UI that trigger deployments or metadata backups within Salesforce).

• Develop resilient UI tests for Salesforce Lightning that can withstand dynamic ID alterations and adeptly manage Shadow DOM components (utilizing UTAM, Playwright, or other enterprise testing tools).

• Create dependable API automation suites to verify real-time data integrations, webhooks, and secure queues operating between AWS and Salesforce.

• Seamlessly integrate the automated test suites into contemporary Git-based CI/CD pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in QA Automation Engineering, particularly in managing complex enterprise integrations.

• Extensive Salesforce Knowledge: Profound understanding of Salesforce Lightning architecture, metadata, security models, and developer workflows.

• Technical Expertise: Skilled in code-first automation (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) OR in-depth knowledge of Salesforce-specific automated testing frameworks (Provar, ACCELQ, or UTAM).

• Proficient in API & Database Testing: Strong expertise in REST API testing and a solid grasp of SOQL queries for direct verification of Salesforce databases.

• DevOps Orientation: Significant experience in establishing automated test steps within CI/CD pipelines (using GitHub Actions, GitLab, or cloud developer tools).
