This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Assurance of quality and testing processes
• Analyze and interpret functional and technical documentation (BRD, FSD, and TSD).
• Develop strategies, test plans, and test cases for new projects, enhancements, and bug resolutions.
• Create, maintain, and execute both manual and automated test scripts.
• Develop and sustain utilities, simulators, data sets, and tools to facilitate testing.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and validation testing.
• Assist in integrated acceptance testing processes involving clients.
• Record, monitor, and validate resolutions for detected defects.
• Ensure adherence to established QA standards, processes, and methodologies.
• Evaluate impacts, risks, and dependencies while supporting mitigation strategies.
• Identify areas for optimizing testing processes, systems, and activities.
• Contribute to quality audits and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Clearly and objectively document test evidence, results, and analyses.
• Engage in refinement meetings, requirements definition, and scope validation.
• Serve as a strategic partner to both business and technology teams.
• Share technical expertise and assist fellow team members.
• Independently manage the testing activities assigned to you.
• Prioritize tasks based on urgency and established timelines.
• Provide support for critical projects with advanced technical knowledge.
• Mentor and guide professionals working in Mainframe environments as required.
• Bachelor's degree or a comparable mix of education and professional experience.
• Extensive experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.
• Background in projects within the financial sector, particularly involving payment methods or credit card systems.
• Familiarity with Mainframe environments and system integrations.
• Proven experience in designing and executing test cases and scripts.
• Competency in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Experience with defect management and test tracking tools.
• Understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
