Senior QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Actively engage in agile ceremonies, refinement sessions, and technical discussions, aiding in the establishment of acceptance criteria.

• Evaluate functional and technical requirements, identifying risks, impacts, and critical scenarios for validation.

• Plan, design, and execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory test cases.

• Validate frontend and backend applications, as well as integrations between systems.

• Conduct API and service testing, taking into account REST, SOAP integrations, queues, and other architectural components.

• Log, document, and track defects while assisting the team in root-cause analysis and prioritization of fixes.

• Aid in the analysis of logs and technical evidence to identify failures and inconsistencies.

• Participate in acceptance testing of deliveries, ensuring compliance with acceptance criteria and quality standards established by Porto.

• Organize test evidence and assist in maintaining documentation of validated scenarios.

• Contribute to the advancement of the Squad's testing strategy by suggesting enhancements to processes, tools, and quality metrics.

• Assist in the implementation and evolution of automated tests, when applicable.

• Collaborate closely with Developers, Tech Leads, Functional Analysts, and Product Owners to ensure dependable and sustainable deliveries.


⛳️ Requirements

• Completed or in-progress Bachelor's degree in Technology or related fields.

• Experience in planning, designing, and executing software tests.

• Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing methodologies.

• Experience validating APIs using tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or similar.

• Familiarity with integration protocols and technologies, including HTTP/HTTPS, REST, and SOAP.

• Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries for data validation purposes.

• Familiarity with backlog management and defect tracking tools like Jira or similar.

• Experience working in teams that employ agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical abilities for problem investigation and log analysis.

• Well-organized in documenting scenarios, evidence, and test results.
