Senior Python, Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, test, and deploy software solutions utilizing Python and Java.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to outline, create, and launch new features and products.

• Enhance and optimize the performance of current applications.

• Detect and resolve bugs and performance challenges.

• Engage actively in code reviews to uphold the quality of the code produced.

• Record processes and outcomes to aid in knowledge preservation within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Python development (at least 3 years) — utilizing frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

• Demonstrated experience in Java development (at least 1 year) — focusing on microservices and containerization, APIs, Swagger, and IAM integrations (OAuth, OpenID, SAML).

• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) as well as non-relational databases (MongoDB).

• Proficient in using version control tools (Git).

• Capability to write automated tests and experience with TDD/BDD methodologies.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with external services.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

• Proficient in English at an advanced level.
