Senior Full-Stack Engineer – React Native, Next.js, Backend, Product Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mobile, web, and backend functionalities throughout our product ecosystem.

• Engage with React Native mobile applications, Next.js web platforms, and backend solutions built using Python/Django and PHP.

• Collaborate with designers, product stakeholders, and fellow engineers to transform requirements into reliable and user-friendly solutions.

• Diagnose and resolve issues across the entire stack, encompassing mobile, web, APIs, integrations, performance, and production-related bugs.

• Enhance application performance, stability, and cross-platform functionality on both iOS and Android devices.

• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and assist in maintaining high engineering standards within the team.

• Familiarize yourself with unfamiliar segments of the codebase, implement safe modifications, and improve long-term maintainability.

• Make practical technical decisions regarding architecture, APIs, state management, testing, deployment, and sustained code quality.

• Utilize modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows, judiciously to expedite processes without sacrificing quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong full-stack engineering capabilities encompassing frontend, backend, APIs, databases, debugging, and deployment.

• Extensive experience with React Native, React, Next.js, and TypeScript, or the aptitude to quickly become proficient in them.

• Solid backend expertise, preferably with Python/Django and PHP, or equivalent experience with similar backend frameworks.

• Ability to comprehend unfamiliar codebases, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement safe changes in production environments.

• Proficient in responsibly utilizing AI development tools while still reviewing, testing, and understanding the generated code.

• Deep understanding of architecture, maintainability, trade-offs, performance, security, and long-term code quality.

• Capability to take ownership of ambiguous technical challenges and convert them into reliable, deployable solutions.
