Middle/Senior .Net Engineer, IoT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design and develop applications and microservices utilizing C# and .NET technologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an Agile framework.

• Engage with REST APIs, messaging technologies, databases, Docker, and DevOps tools.

• Contribute to the creation of scalable, high-performance software products.

• Design and implement or transition features within our new technology stack (C#, .NET MVC, REST API, message broker-based microservices).

• Work in partnership with leads to execute the direction established for product development.

• Collaborate closely with fellow developers on an Agile Scrum team to create solutions.

• Partner with engineers to develop code that models, analyzes, and optimizes production equipment.

• Implement and utilize libraries that interact with and control oilfield equipment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience.

• At least three (3) years of experience in developing .NET applications.

• Proficient in developing and maintaining features in layered architectures (e.g., MVP, MVC, MVVM).

• Experience in relational database development using SQL Server or similar technologies.

• Familiarity with team-oriented software practices and processes (Agile Scrum, Pull Requests, Source Control, etc.).

• Very proficient in writing code in C#.

• Experience with Docker containers.

• Knowledge of IoT protocols and frameworks such as MQTT, AMQP, etc.

• Familiarity with Message Queues like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, etc.

• Hands-on experience with RDBMS technologies such as SQL Server and Oracle.

• Practical experience in DevOps practices.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Willingness and motivation to learn new domains, skills, and technologies.

• Experience in the following is a plus: working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and InfluxDB.

• Development of progressive web applications using React is a plus.

• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is advantageous.
