Advisor Application Developer – Java, .NET, EDI, Pharmacy, NCPDP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Offers senior-level expertise in application analysis, design, development, integration, and support for the healthcare transaction platform and associated Medicaid pharmacy systems.

• Spearheads the design, development, testing, and deployment of NCPDP F6 transaction processing solutions.

• Evaluates business and technical requirements and converts them into scalable application designs.

• Creates and maintains APIs, interfaces, batch processes, and data integrations.

• Conducts code reviews and guarantees compliance with Gainwell development standards.

• Assists in defect resolution, root cause analysis, and management of production issues.

• Works collaboratively with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and client stakeholders.

• Engages in Agile ceremonies, providing technical estimates and work planning.

• Produces technical documentation, support guides, and materials for knowledge transfer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in application development and systems analysis utilizing Java, .NET, APIs, and SQL.

• Preferred expertise in functional areas related to Medicaid, Healthcare Payer, and EDI transactions.

• Experience with NCPDP, the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs, is highly valued.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills are essential.
