Senior Python Engineer, GenAI & LLM Orchestration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and servers utilizing frameworks like FastAPI, Django REST, or Flask.

• Implement and improve Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.

• Analyze and optimize Python code to boost performance.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including ML engineers and product managers, to produce high-quality products.

• Create clean, maintainable, and thoroughly documented code.

• Remain informed about the latest advancements in Python and AI technologies and suggest innovative solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Python.

• Solid grasp of OOP, design patterns, and clean architecture.

• Experience in developing RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Django REST, or Flask.

• Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or AWS Bedrock).

• Background in creating RAG systems.

• Proficiency in AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot).

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.

• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, Bedrock, S3, SQS).

• Proficiency in SQL (Postgres), NoSQL (DynamoDB, Redis), and vector databases.

• Strong testing practices: pytest, mocking, and integration tests for AI systems.

• Experience with observability tools (OpenTelemetry, structured logging).

• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Nice to Have:

• Experience with agentic frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK).

• Familiarity with prompt engineering and management at scale.

• Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks (RAGAS, custom metrics, deepeval).

• Experience with Streamlit or Gradio for AI prototyping.

• Familiarity with modern Python tooling (ruff, uv, pyproject.toml, pyright).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

• Proficiency in another programming language (Go, Node.js, Rust).
