Senior Python Engineer, DevEx Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Enhancements in performance, optimization of database queries, and scalability improvements;

• Configuration and best practices for monitoring and observability;

• Development and management of internal libraries;

• Improvements to the development pipeline, such as integrating code coverage tools, in close collaboration with the DevOps team;

• Upholding high-quality standards in code maintenance;

• Comprehensive design and implementation of features;

• Continuous coding, debugging, testing, and delivery of features and improvements;

• Offering code reviews, support, and constructive feedback to fellow team members;

• Refactoring code when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience in developing Python backend services and web APIs;

• Strong skills in software architecture;

• Familiarity with distributed systems;

• In-depth knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data architecture, particularly with PostgreSQL;

• Experience using the Flask framework;

• Background in performance optimization, including database query optimization and caching;

• Understanding of integration processes with external services;

• A product-oriented mindset;

• Proficient in English.
