Senior Python Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Taking ownership of the transaction monitoring component of the Crystal platform;

• Enhancing the stability and observability of the services under your purview;

• Upholding high-quality standards in code maintenance;

• Designing and implementing features from start to finish;

• Engaging in coding, debugging, testing, and delivering features and enhancements continuously;

• Offering code reviews, support, and constructive feedback to fellow team members;

• Conducting performance optimizations, including improvements in database queries;

• Refactoring code as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience in developing Python backend services and web APIs;

• Strong skills in software architecture;

• In-depth knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data architecture, particularly PostgreSQL;

• Understanding of testing principles applicable at various system levels;

• Proven experience in creating client-facing solutions;

• Familiarity with distributed systems;

• A product-oriented approach;

• Proficiency in English.
