Senior Python Engineer, Apache Airflow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of crucial backend services, ensuring their reliability and performance.

• Develop and enhance features in existing systems.

• Troubleshoot issues related to data pipelines, DAGs, indexing, and web applications.

• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend effective solutions.

• Propose and implement enhancements across various system layers.

• Collaborate actively with the team while maintaining communication with clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with **Python**, including the development of **Airflow DAGs** and **Flask applications**.

• More than 3 years of experience with **Apache Airflow** (DAG development and orchestration).

• At least 3 years of experience with **Elasticsearch** (data indexing and optimization).

• Over 3 years of experience with **GitLab**, including designing **CI/CD pipelines**.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with **Oracle or PostgreSQL** (preferably both).

• At least 3 years of experience in **Unix/Linux systems**.

• More than 5 years of experience in **Agile environments**.

• Strong background in **data pipelines**, distributed systems, and backend development.

• Capability to conduct **root cause analysis** and manage complex systems.

• Proficiency in **Advanced English**.

• Possession of a technical degree.
