Senior Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• You will be part of a remote engineering team responsible for developing and maintaining an internal automation platform.

• You will have full ownership of Python services: from designing the automation logic to executing it in production, managing failures, and validating real-world outputs.

• Create and manage browser automation workflows utilizing Playwright on actual web portals.

• Take charge of Python services from conception to production, including orchestration, error management, and monitoring.

• Design and implement retry mechanisms, alert systems, and failure recovery for automations that are production-ready.

• Collaborate with workflow orchestration tools (such as Prefect) to schedule and oversee data pipelines.

• Integrate LLMs and OCR into automation workflows as necessary.

• Write and maintain SQL queries, working directly with PostgreSQL as the main data repository.

• Deploy and manage services on AWS using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience with Python in a production environment.

• Practical experience with browser automation tools, preferably Playwright, but also including Selenium or similar technologies used in real commercial applications.

• Senior-level accountability: you are adept at independently diagnosing production problems, designing error handling and retry methods, and instrumenting your services.

• An active daily user of AI coding tools (such as Claude Code / Cursor or similar) — you know how to validate and refine AI-generated outputs.

• Proficiency in English at B2 level — comfortable with written communication (PRs, issues, Slack) as well as verbal interactions (daily standups, ad-hoc calls).
