
Senior Project Specialist β AI/AN Victim Services Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Deliver extensive capacity building and compliance support to AI/AN victim services programs to ensure adherence to award conditions, including client confidentiality policies, program narratives, time-task plans, and compliance with award stipulations.
β’ Design and implement assistance initiatives, including the creation and advancement of tailored assistance plans, sharing expertise in specific subject areas, and documenting outcomes.
β’ Aid programs in formulating or improving victim service policies and procedures, conducting assessments of community needs, and developing strategic and sustainability plans.
β’ Assist recipients in addressing OJP monitoring concerns and executing corrective actions.
β’ Assess individual grantee requirements and collaborate with grantees to execute and monitor the progress of customized assistance plans.
β’ Cultivate and maintain genuinely collaborative partnerships with tribal communities as well as a diverse range of training and technical assistance providers.
β’ Support grantees as they enhance and fortify their crime victim services.
β’ Create training materials, curricula, and resources tailored for AI/AN audiences and their specified needs.
β’ Facilitate training sessions, including webinars, peer learning exchanges, and communities of practice.
β’ Assist grantees in developing key initiatives to enhance their programs and services.
β’ Provide assistance with strategic planning.
β’ Conduct evaluations of resources, infrastructure, and capacity within tribal communities.
β’ Identify and disseminate culturally responsive, trauma-informed practices, resources, and approaches.
β’ Bachelorβs degree.
β’ At least 5 years of experience working with AI/AN communities.
β’ Minimum of 5 years in victim services.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in supporting federal grant programs and aiding AI/AN grant recipients to guarantee compliance with award conditions, including client confidentiality policies, program narratives, time-task plans, and other award documentation.
β’ Must be willing to travel if necessary.
β’ U.S. citizenship is mandated by federal government contract.
β’ This role requires a Public Trust security clearance. Applicants will undergo a government security investigation to secure clearance before the start date.
