Senior Project Scheduler – Gas

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Develop, revise, and assess resource-loaded project timelines.

• Assist Blattner’s Operations and Project Management teams.

• Establish initial baseline schedules for intricate projects using CPM best practices and contractual obligations.

• Utilize P6 health checks to verify schedules against relevant DCMA metrics.

• Aid in schedule risk and range analysis under the guidance of the Senior Scheduler.

• Deliver prompt schedule updates to ensure contract deliverable deadlines are achieved.

• Conduct weekly resource leveling.

• Implement schedule change scenarios, document their impacts, and escalate discrepancies for mitigation strategies.

• Create contractually required and additional project reports, including look-ahead, variance, and critical path reports.

• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to maintain accurate schedules that reflect project progress and adhere to procedures and client specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Industrial Engineering Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or a combination of relevant education and experience.

• A minimum of two years of experience in project scheduling or a mix of construction and scheduling experience.

• Experience in scheduling for gas or heavy industrial projects is essential.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

• Advanced proficiency in scheduling software, including Primavera and Microsoft Project.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, encompassing Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

• Familiarity with risk analysis software like Primavera Risk, Acumen Risk, Risk, and Safran.

• Proficient in analytical tools such as Acumen Fuse, Power BI, and Tableau.
