This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Propel order growth within the Construction Ecosystem.
• Achieve or surpass the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Develop strategic partnerships with leading general contractors, mechanical/electrical contractors, and consulting engineers in your province.
• Work in conjunction with Major Projects and Service Account Managers to foster growth on specific opportunities.
• Provide precise weekly forecasts for orders using the Salesforce.com platform.
• Consistently reach the orders forecast on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Build professional relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
• Create a strong pipeline of opportunities within the Construction Ecosystem.
• Suggest and implement enhancements to meet sales objectives.
• Acquire new customer logos.
• At least 5 years of quota-carrying sales experience in the building automation (HVAC, fire alarm, or security systems) or industrial automation sectors.
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time to sites/customers in the Alberta Region.
• Bachelor's degree or College Diploma related to the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of Building Management Systems, Fire, Security, and Software.
• Proficient in the Salesforce.com platform.
• Solid grasp of direct sales of integrated solutions.
• Outcome-based selling expertise.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding the Annual Operating Plan.
• Experience in C-Level selling.
• In-depth knowledge of the construction ecosystem.
