Senior Project Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation through to deployment and post-implementation stabilization.

• Create and uphold detailed project plans, timelines, and manage dependencies across various workstreams.

• Administer project budgets, forecasts, and overall financial performance metrics.

• Actively identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks, issues, and project dependencies.

• Manage change processes, assessing impacts on scope, timelines, and costs.

• Facilitate collaboration across application, infrastructure, cloud, testing, and business teams.

• Establish governance frameworks, reporting systems, and executive-level communication for project status.

• Ensure compliance with PMO methodologies, documentation standards, and audit requirements.

• Lead testing efforts, cutover planning, and readiness for deployment.

• Promote stakeholder alignment, secure necessary approvals, and aid in executive-level decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in IT Project Management, leading medium to large complex projects.

• Strong expertise in application modernization or cloud transformation initiatives.

• Familiarity with AWS, containerization technologies, and migrating legacy systems.

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for project tracking and execution.

• Basic knowledge of AI concepts is a plus.

• Competence in managing complex delivery processes, including testing and sign-off coordination.

• Strong leadership abilities in cross-functional and geographically dispersed team settings.

• Proven experience in managing enterprise application portfolios and modernization efforts.

• Understanding of software lifecycle management, testing, and deployment practices.

• Experience in large-scale IT environments with numerous stakeholders and dependencies.
