Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the delivery schedule by ensuring resources are aligned with commitments and that the plan is adhered to.

• Track task progress on a daily and weekly basis, eliminate obstacles, and maintain momentum towards achieving milestones.

• Recognize potential roadblocks and escalate them promptly with clear context, impact analysis, and suggested next steps.

• Ensure alignment between customer stakeholders and internal teams (including project leads and team leaders) through regular communication.

• Deliver concise and coherent project status updates that address progress, risks, and issues for both internal and external audiences.

• Oversee project budgeting and financial tracking, assist with invoicing and administrative duties, and keep project plans current to ensure accuracy in delivery and timely reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technological, or related technical discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing customer-facing projects from start to finish in the life sciences sector is essential.

• Over 5 years of experience leading projects that necessitate close collaboration among multiple stakeholders and leadership groups.

• At least 5 years of experience conducting executive call updates and aligning leadership on priorities, risks, and outcomes.

• Capability to manage project delivery utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Expertise in project management tools and reporting (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira) along with strong Excel skills for tracking and updates.

• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management training.
