This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish robust professional connections with both current and prospective clients.
• Recognize new business prospects from existing clients and relay this information to the Sales team.
• Create and implement solutions tailored for current and potential clients.
• Assist the Sales team in closing new business opportunities.
• Maintain close communication with clients whenever issues arise to ensure effective resolution.
• Offer management feedback and suggestions on essential changes to enhance the company's processes, procedures, and services.
• Provide guidance and mentorship while managing Project Managers and Project Specialists.
• Collaborate with the Sales team and Project Managers to establish a project schedule and ensure effective communication throughout projects.
• Keep key LanguageLine business systems, such as XTRF, LLTS Wiki, and other databases, updated to reflect all pertinent client communications.
• Represent LanguageLine at trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences as needed.
• Conduct visits to current and possibly prospective clients.
• Contribute to the Process and Quality Improvement Initiative by engaging in cross-functional teams.
• Organize and allocate linguists for various projects.
• Cultivate relationships with linguists to promote collaboration.
• Oversee contractors to guarantee timely delivery of products.
• Monitor quality control processes to ensure the completion of all quality checks.
• Consistently track project progress; report status and critical issues to Account Executives.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
• Authorize and sign off on projects being delivered to clients.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with clients' specifications and expectations, reflecting a world-class organization.
• Provide training and consulting services to Project Managers and serve as a consultant for systems development activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Proficiency in the MS Word suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook).
• Comprehensive understanding of project management principles as they relate to the localization industry.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Practical knowledge of database operations and concepts.
• Must be highly resourceful and capable of working independently.
• Demonstrated organizational and communication skills.
