Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of project plans, facilitate daily scrums, oversee releases from start to finish, and ensure cross-functional teams remain aligned.

• Act as the primary point of contact for daily delivery and execution across the organization.

• Create and sustain comprehensive project plans that feature well-defined milestones and deadlines.

• Monitor progress across various teams and foster accountability to maintain project schedules.

• Lead daily stand-up meetings for delivery teams.

• Manage the release checklist from readiness to deployment, ensuring all necessary reviews and approvals are completed prior to shipping.

• Organize and conduct deployment meetings with the external DevOps partner.

• Maintain project tracking tools and release artifacts in a clean and trustworthy manner, allowing teams and stakeholders to rely on the data.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a software development environment, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead PM position.

• Capable of working independently and making daily delivery decisions without requiring constant guidance. You understand when to take initiative and when to escalate issues.

• Exceptional skills in developing project plans, tracking milestones, and ensuring cross-functional teams adhere to deadlines.

• Comfortable facilitating discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Knowledge of release management processes, including QA gating, stakeholder approvals, and deployment coordination.

• Proficient in project tracking and time-entry tools (experience with Jira and Tempo is a plus).

• Strong written communication abilities.

• Comfortable managing relationships with external partners and ensuring they meet timelines.

• A proactive mindset focused on minimizing friction, enhancing processes, and leveraging data to guide decisions.

• Availability for off-hours releases and escalation support is expected.
