This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Identify and manage logistics providers both domestically and internationally for various transportation modes, such as truck, rail, air, ocean, warehousing, project cargo, and standard freight.
• Oversee the management of shipment planning data, including requests, ASNs, and system-generated demand, while coordinating with teams to ensure shipment visibility and execution.
• Create logistics strategies that align with purchase orders and customer contract terms, ensuring compliance from suppliers, customers, and carriers while promoting safety, service quality, and cost efficiency.
• Prepare and validate shipping documentation and labeling to guarantee compliance.
• Support the Logistics Lead and Manager with budgeting for transportation, obtaining quotations, monitoring budgets, and performing variance analysis.
• Share insights on logistics trends, market indices, best practices, and competitive solutions to foster innovation and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Procurement teams to facilitate logistics execution.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics operations is essential.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manage complex spreadsheets.
