Senior Project Engineer – Special Scaffolding Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Provide robust support for the implementation and execution of specialized and tailored Scaffolding applications within the sectors of Infrastructure, Power Plants, and Highrise projects on a global scale.

• Create unique Scaffolding designs and solutions, overseeing the process from quotation through to order processing for projects.

• Offer technical guidance for projects, emphasizing cross-functional collaboration to enhance business performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction, while ensuring that engineering solutions are both safe and cost-effective.

• Serve as the primary contact for Special Scaffolding Applications, possessing extensive technical knowledge and product expertise.

• Maintain close communication with Product Management and other stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of corporate standards and product development initiatives.

• Ensure the transfer of knowledge regarding Special Scaffolding solutions to various country or area organizations by mentoring, training, and guiding teams through the different phases of design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in scaffolding engineering with a proven history in international civil or industrial projects.

• Demonstrated success in developing engineering design concepts and adapting them to meet customer requirements.

• Knowledge in the field of Heavy Shoring is an added advantage.

• Strong understanding of customer needs with a high level of customer orientation.

• Proficient in problem-solving using technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong analytical capabilities.

• Capable of prioritizing tasks, organizing effectively, and meeting deadlines.

• Proficient design skills in AutoCAD 2D, and ideally familiar with 3D software such as Revit.

• Strong ability to read, interpret, and comprehend structural and architectural contract drawings.

• Capability to perform advanced statics calculations is a plus.

• An Engineering Diploma/Degree (in construction, structural, civil, or mechanical fields) is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Willingness to travel and flexibility for global business trips is highly welcomed.
