Senior Project Engineer – MES Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Function as a technical expert in the creation of engineering solutions centered around industrial automation.

• Oversee mid- to large-scale projects, guaranteeing superior technical delivery that adheres to safety, cybersecurity, and compliance standards.

• Act as a technical resource, ensuring that project execution aligns with contracts, quality benchmarks, safety procedures, and cybersecurity guidelines.

• Work closely with clients to comprehend their requirements and propose customized technical solutions, integrating ongoing feedback.

• Formulate work plans and cost estimates, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project execution.

• Collaborate with internal teams to confirm that systems are properly manufactured, tested, installed, and commissioned.

• Provide support and mentorship to engineers in their technical growth, fostering best practices and sharing insights gained.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), specifically within the pulp and paper sector.

• Degree in Software Engineering, Automation, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning.

• Significant experience in industrial software development and implementation.

• Proficient in English (Spanish is an advantage).

• Strong capability to engage with clients and convert business requirements into digital and technical solutions.
