This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee extensive Energy Storage Projects
• Act as the technical leader for projects, ensuring collaboration with internal teams, external engineering firms, vendors, contractors, and clients
• Address RFIs, identify and resolve technical discrepancies, lead discussions, and manage design modifications and clarifications
• Generate project-specific Bills of Materials (BOMs) and align technical requirements and approvals with suppliers
• Visit project sites to engage with stakeholders, troubleshoot issues, and verify the status of on-site work
• Develop commissioning and testing plans in accordance with contract specifications, support Factory and Field Acceptance Testing (FAT/FIT), and assist with troubleshooting during the commissioning phase
• Monitor technical challenges, compile weekly technical reports, prepare technical submissions, and produce acceptance test reports for client approval
• Maintain familiarity with industry standards and best practices
• Facilitate project network design collaboration between internal (Software and Network teams) and external parties
• Produce network design documentation
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline
• At least 6 years of experience in electrical engineering and execution of large-scale electrical projects
• Understanding of energy storage systems, including batteries and inverters
• Experience with project engineering processes, including control of technical documents, vendor coordination, and submission preparation
• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA systems, and network infrastructure
• Practical knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, UL, NFPA)
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for interaction with clients, vendors, and internal teams
• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required for site evaluations, commissioning support, and client meetings.
