RF Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design of RF systems for spaceborne platforms, focusing on link budgets, antenna performance, and comprehensive signal integrity.

• Development and optimization of RF subsystems, including transceivers, amplifiers, filters, and telemetry systems.

• Conducting testing and validation of RF hardware in laboratory and simulated space conditions.

• Assisting with EMC/EMI analysis and ensuring adherence to mission-level requirements.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in systems engineering, avionics, and mission operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required experience in the space industry with direct involvement in RF systems for satellites, spacecraft, or space missions.

• Expertise in RF system design specifically for spaceborne platforms (link budgets, RF chain architecture, signal integrity).

• Experience in RF hardware development, including transceivers, amplifiers, filters, and telemetry systems.

• Proficiency in RF testing and validation utilizing laboratory equipment such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.

• Capability to interpret mission-level RF requirements and convert them into specifications for subsystems.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience.
