This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in cost management and budget monitoring for a range of solar PV and energy storage projects, from commercial and industrial to utility-scale across various major US markets.
• Track budgets against actual expenditures, monitor committed costs, and highlight any discrepancies to project teams and leadership.
• Aid in cash flow projections by aligning cost information with project timelines and payment milestones.
• Contribute to financing efforts, draw schedule planning, and lender reporting as required.
• Support benchmarking initiatives to pinpoint cost trends and identify potential savings opportunities.
• Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards (including project-level spending, commitments versus actuals, and forecast variances) to assist project managers and leadership.
• Help evaluate vendor change order requests and their possible impact on the budget.
• Generate clear and concise reports and analyses to facilitate decision-making and enhance operational efficiencies.
• Aid in the development, upkeep, and management of project master schedules for the entire portfolio.
• Analyze schedules for risks and participate in strategy discussions to find solutions and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate updates from third-party schedules by engaging in reporting cycles, assessing schedule quality, and integrating updates into the master schedule.
• Monitor the critical path, track forecast variances, and highlight significant schedule risks to project and client teams.
• Facilitate schedule review meetings with project teams, contributing to collaborative discussions and timeline tracking.
• Ensure accurate cash flow forecasting through the alignment of schedule milestones and budget data.
• Evaluate vendor change order requests to determine their potential effects on project timelines.
• Act as a responsive point of contact for project controls inquiries, liaising with project clients, vendors, and internal teams as necessary.
• Actively participate in the enhancement of project controls processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist in the design and continuous improvement of tools and workflows within Euclid’s platform to better support project developers and investors.
• Collaborate with the controls team and the broader organization on ad-hoc analyses and continuous improvement efforts.
• A Bachelor’s degree with over 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with more than 3 years. Preferred fields include engineering, project/operations/construction management, business administration, economics, or finance.
• Experience in renewable energy or related industries (such as construction, manufacturing, or utilities) is highly desirable.
• Strong technical expertise in project controls, with a solid understanding of both cost and schedule management.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to data integrity and accuracy in deliverables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present information clearly and professionally in both client-facing and internal settings.
• A collaborative team player eager to contribute to a rapidly growing company.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in remote or asynchronous environments.
• Comfortable working under pressure and adhering to tight deadlines.
• Advanced skills in spreadsheets and databases (Excel, Smartsheet), including capabilities in data summarization, visualization, and formula/coding.
