This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
β’ Design, construct, and oversee surveillance logic utilizing Medicare claims data.
β’ Create and enhance statistical thresholds and decision-making criteria.
β’ Administer surveillance data streams β including CMS claims updates, provider taxonomy information, eligibility events, and post-acute episode sequences.
β’ Analyze identified patterns, implement documented decision-making rules, and record findings.
β’ Develop and sustain benchmark adjustment models to quantify the financial impact on ACO shared savings positions.
β’ Create and provide operational alerts to care management and network teams.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in health economics, statistics, mathematics, health informatics, public health, computer science, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
β’ Over 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare data analytics, health economics, or a similarly related analytical field with demonstrated advancement in scope and independence.
β’ More than 3 years of direct, hands-on experience with Medicare claims data β including CMS CCLF extracts, LDS files, or equivalent β covering claim types (carrier, institutional, DME), revenue codes, HCPCS/CPT coding, and adjudication logic.
β’ At least 2 years in a value-based care, ACO, or payer analytics setting.
β’ A minimum of 2 years applying health analytic techniques: cost decomposition, utilization trending, risk adjustment analysis, population segmentation, or financial impact modeling.
β’ Over 3 years of experience with SQL, Python, R, or dbt is required.
β’ At least 2 years of experience with Snowflake (preferred), BigQuery, or Redshift.
β’ A minimum of 2 years working with a BI platform (Sigma, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI).
