This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the establishment and upkeep of program cost baselines, which include time-phased budgets and control account structures.
• Take ownership of Earned Value Management (EVM) processes utilizing Deltek Cobra, guaranteeing data accuracy and adherence to EVMS standards.
• Create, evaluate, and justify Estimates at Completion (EAC) and Estimates to Complete (ETC).
• Conduct in-depth variance analysis and effectively communicate root causes, impacts, and anticipated risks.
• Collaborate directly with CAMs and program leaders to confirm performance metrics, question assumptions, and enhance forecast precision.
• Direct monthly program financial reviews, which encompass internal leadership updates and deliverables for customers.
• Align cost, schedule, and accounting data across various systems (Cobra, ERP, timekeeping) to maintain consistency and prepare for audits.
• Assist in baseline change control procedures, including BCR development, impact assessments, and implementation processes.
• Ensure compliance with ANSI/EIA-748 EVMS standards and facilitate DCMA/DCAA audits and surveillance operations.
• Recognize cost-related risks and opportunities, actively promoting strategies for mitigation.
• 7+ years of experience in program controls, cost management, or earned value management.
• Advanced, hands-on proficiency with Deltek Cobra (mandatory).
• Extensive knowledge of EVMS principles and ANSI/EIA-748 compliance.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and defending EACs/ETCs at the program or control account level.
• Experience working directly with CAMs and program leadership in a client-focused setting.
• High level of proficiency in Excel and analysis of large datasets.
• Strong aptitude for translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
• Previous experience in the aerospace and defense sector is required.
• Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint or comparable ERP systems.
• Background in supporting DCMA or DCAA audits, IBRs, or surveillance evaluations.
• Understanding of integrated cost/schedule environments and cross-functional program controls.
• Experience in leading or mentoring junior analysts.
• Active or eligible for a U.S. security clearance.
