Senior Professional Services Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients as they integrate Illumio within their environments.

• Oversee the deployment and upgrades of the Illumio platform, coordinating timelines and resources effectively.

• Conduct technical assessments and assist in the preparation for changes.

• Create Illumio-specific API scripts for the deployment, monitoring, and management of services.

• Offer best practices, documentation, and recommendations for optimization.

• Prepare and uphold project documentation.

• Monitor and troubleshoot deployments, addressing anomalies and performance issues.

• Act as the primary liaison between client teams and Illumio's product and support teams.

• Provide metrics and reports on the effectiveness of deployments.

• Assist internal teams with documentation for integration and the development of security rulesets and policies.

• Facilitate platform testing and validation for client service teams.

• Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and product training for client teams.

• Complete necessary administrative documentation, such as timesheets and weekly reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of consulting or advisory experience.

• Strong proficiency in Linux, ideally CentOS/Red Hat, as well as Windows Server.

• Experience with cloud service models including AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.

• Familiarity with container platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift.

• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.

• In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, network flows, protocols, and application security controls.

• Capability to diagnose and resolve issues in unfamiliar technology environments.

• Ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies and new tools.

• Strong client-facing skills, including conflict resolution and project management.

• Excellent communication abilities with the capacity to tailor messages for various audiences.

• A broad understanding of IT infrastructure.

• Willingness to travel to Illumio headquarters in Silicon Valley for product training and knowledge enhancement.

• Aptitude for quickly assimilating new product knowledge and applying it in customer environments.

• Prior experience with Illumio is not mandatory; training will be offered.
