Senior Product Owner – Workforce Management SaaS

📋 Description

• Maximize Product Value: Ensure that the product achieves the highest possible value from the development team's efforts while meeting all established objectives.

• Define Delivery Strategy: Collaborate closely with the engineering team to establish the implementation strategy and delivery schedules.

• Backlog Management: Create, sustain, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with both technical and business strategies.

• Story Definition: Work alongside the squad to develop Epics and Stories, making certain they adhere to the stringent "Definition of Ready" and "Definition of Done."

• Scrum Leadership: Guide and oversee key Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint demonstrations.

• Project Tracking & Communication: Lead sprint and release planning, monitor progress against deadlines, and provide clear updates to stakeholders.

• Impediment Mitigation: Anticipate and eliminate obstacles that may impede the squad’s ability to achieve its goals.

• Vision Stewardship: Actively engage in defining and maintaining the overarching product vision from design to deployment.

• Process Transformation Experience: Demonstrated success in streamlining and transforming internal business processes.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate with Technical Owners within an Agile squad to ensure consistent, high-quality software delivery.

• Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with Product Managers, Architects, Security teams, DBAs, UX Designers, and Customers.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to convert complex business or technical challenges into actionable, clearly defined solutions.

• Agile/Scrum Expertise: Extensive practical knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.

• Advanced Technology/AI Acumen: Ability to stay informed about emerging technologies, particularly in the rapidly changing Artificial Intelligence (AI) sector.

• Technical Familiarity: A foundational understanding of software architecture, database management, and security to enhance collaboration with technical stakeholders.
