This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Develop and implement an annual marketing strategy along with quarterly tactical plans for mathematics products.
• Lead the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product launches and updates to existing features.
• Create a buyer journey map to guide product positioning and messaging that sets Great Minds apart, incorporating case studies, presentation proposals, and testimonials from current clients.
• Formulate marketing strategies informed by audience insights obtained through research and close collaboration with both the math product team and the sales team.
• Monitor and assess data (using HubSpot, Salesforce, and Google Analytics) to understand consumer behavior and leverage insights in math marketing initiatives.
• Ensure consistent messaging across all customer-facing communications and materials.
• Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with the math product team, including the Director of Product Management for math and math Product Managers.
• Work closely with the Director of Product Management for math to relay new product features and benefits to sales and collaborate with sales to create training, resources, and tools that facilitate selling.
• Collaborate with the math content team, marketing events team, and math product team to establish Great Minds as a leader in math curriculum at national, regional, and state-level conferences.
• Partner with Regional Sales Directors to create and with the marketing team to provide compelling customer-facing marketing presentations, web pages, and materials.
• Align campaigns with the different stages of the sales funnel, considering influencers, decision-makers, and current customers in messaging.
• Collaborate with the digital marketing team on content for both organic and paid social media placements.
• Engage in market research initiatives to understand the landscape of math curriculum at the national or state level.
• Analyze industry trends and customer insights to inform product positioning and marketing strategies.
• Synthesize research findings to influence the product roadmap.
• Over 7 years of experience in creating and executing innovative strategic product marketing plans, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a high-performing team.
• More than 5 years of experience in developing marketing plans specifically for Math curriculum within the K12 sector.
• Proven experience in launching new products in the education market and navigating state and district curriculum adoptions.
• Proficient knowledge and experience with CRM platforms (such as HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to work across organizational structures and within various functional teams to achieve common goals.
• Comfortable engaging in discussions to enhance understanding of educational products and pedagogical developments.
• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to convey complex information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience in managing relationships and priorities among various stakeholders.
• Capable of navigating between strategic initiatives and tactical tasks.
