This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Evaluate and analyze global markets pertaining to power uprating, superpower uprating, long-term operation, and beyond SLR operation, identifying demand drivers, customer requirements, and competitive landscapes.
• Implement product strategies and market entry approaches to enhance Engineered Solutions revenue across uprating and LTO offerings.
• Assist Global Markets, Sales, and Tendering teams by clearly articulating value propositions, differentiators, and customer advantages for uprating and long-term operation solutions.
• Contribute to regional and account growth strategies by aligning product offerings with utility long-term operational, performance, and investment goals, including operations extending beyond 80 years.
• Develop and manage a global portfolio of uprating, super uprating, and LTO offerings, encompassing feasibility studies, implementation solutions, and long-term support services.
• Broaden the scope beyond conventional License Renewal by defining LTO and SLR product offerings, including operations exceeding 80 years.
• Identify opportunities to extend the scope beyond traditional NSSS boundaries, including Balance of Plant, electrical systems, and plant-level integration relevant to uprating and long-term operation initiatives.
• Own product roadmaps, lifecycle management, and business cases for assigned offerings, overseeing them from concept through deployment and evolution.
• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives with defined business objectives, customer value, and return-on-investment targets.
• Assist in developing integrated uprating and super uprating solutions that enable utilities to enhance plant output while ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure that uprating solutions are closely aligned with long-term operational strategies, integrating aging management, inspection, replacement strategies, and investment timing to optimize plant performance and economic returns over extended lifetimes.
• Factor in customer considerations regarding grid demand growth, data centers, hyperscalers, and revenue optimization into product definition and value messaging.
• Collaborate with engineering and licensing teams to guarantee that offerings are technically feasible, licensable, and executable across various plant configurations and regulatory frameworks.
• Foster innovation throughout the entire product lifecycle, from idea generation to New Product Introduction, addressing evolving customer challenges associated with uprating, Subsequent License Renewal, and long-term operation beyond 80 years.
• Partner with AI&I (R&D, Digital, Advanced Reactors & Fusion) to co-create technology bricks, analytical tools, and digital enablers applicable to uprating and LTO offerings.
• Support initiatives to leverage external or public funding and collaborative development where applicable.
• Ensure that innovation efforts translate into deployable, scalable, and value-adding products rather than isolated technical developments.
• Utilize global product heatmaps to advocate for reference solutions to operating plants across ES regions, guiding cross-region collaboration to ensure reference solutions are introduced and implemented for all relevant operating plants.
• Collaborate with other Engineered Solutions Product Managers (e.g., NSSS components, Balance of Plant / Plant Engineering, New Markets, Digital & Training) to promote cross-fertilization, consistency, and portfolio coherence.
• Work with APx Global Engineering to synchronize product strategy with engineering capabilities, execution readiness, and resource planning.
• Assist in make-versus-buy evaluations, supply-chain alignment, and manufacturability considerations for uprating and long-term operation solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Licensing, APx, Supply Chain, Global Markets, Sales, and regional teams to align product strategy, execution, and delivery.
• Support tendering activities through solution definition, technical clarification, and value positioning focused on customers.
• Provide high-quality contributions to the corporate strategic planning cycle related to uprating, SLR, operations beyond 80 years, and portfolio investment priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (advanced degree preferred).
• Strong experience in product management, engineering, licensing, consulting, or business development within the nuclear industry or related regulated sectors.
• Familiarity with power uprating, aging management, long-term operation, and SLR challenges, or a proven ability to acquire this expertise.
• Experience in developing product strategies, business cases, and value propositions for complex, long-term engineered offerings.
• Experience working within international, matrixed organizations.
