Senior Product Manager – Money Movement

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete money movement platform, covering external funding (IAV, ACATS, mobile check, rollovers) as well as internal transfers.

• Establish and refine the platform strategy for managing monetary flows into and within Empower.

• Propel enhancements in speed, success rates, costs, and the reliability of all transfer methods.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable and reusable services and APIs for money movement.

• Partner closely with operations and compliance to guarantee regulatory alignment and operational excellence.

• Identify and rectify failure points throughout the transfer lifecycle (such as drop-offs, rejects, and delays).

• Simplify complex financial workflows into user-friendly and intuitive experiences.

• Coordinate with external vendors and partners (including aggregation, verification, and custodians).

• Develop a measurement framework across funding funnels, focusing on time-to-fund, completion rates, and error rates.

• Balance platform investments against experience enhancements with clear trade-offs.

• Lead cross-functional execution involving product, design, engineering, legal, and operations.

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• Over 7 years of experience in leading significant digital direct-to-consumer products while collaborating with engineering, design, and research teams.

• Outstanding prioritization and stakeholder management abilities, especially when working with compliance and legal partners in a highly regulated sector.

• Excellent communication, storytelling, and organizational skills that inspire confidence in senior leaders, cross-functional colleagues, and peers.
