Senior Product Manager – Lending

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the Clasp Finance Roadmap: Define and lead the product strategy for Clasp Finance.

• Engage Educational Institutions as Clients: Collaborate directly with financial aid offices, bursars, treasury teams, and IT leaders at colleges.

• Manage the Borrower Experience: Create application processes, underwriting decision experiences, disclosures, co-signer workflows, identity verification, and funding procedures.

• Establish Servicing Oversight Tools: Identify the monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting mechanisms.

• Collaborate with Compliance and Legal: Consider regulatory requirements as a fundamental design constraint from the beginning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product management, particularly in lending, credit, or loan origination products.

• Hands-on experience with origination processes, underwriting, decision-making, identity verification, disclosures, e-signatures, and funding.

• Capable of balancing the needs of both the borrower and the institutional client simultaneously.

• Proven track record of aligning engineering, compliance, sales, and operational teams around a unified roadmap and driving execution across various functions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proficient in utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data to guide product-related decisions.
