📋 Description

• The Senior Product Manager for Custom Procedure Tray (CPT)/Kitting will be tasked with driving and implementing marketing initiatives that cater to the needs of the CPT/Kitting category, with the goal of establishing a sustainable and profitable business.

• This role demands collaboration with cross-functional teams, as it holds accountability for leading projects and formulating initiatives that propel key strategies and ensure the success of the CPT/Kitting enterprise.

• Spearhead cross-functional teams in the creation and execution of strategic and new product development projects that align with the long-term objectives for the CPT/Kitting category.

• Conduct product and category level P&L analyses to enhance the profitability of the category.

• Perform data analysis to guide business decisions, project business outcomes, and draw manufacturing implications.

• Extract insights from various sources and consolidate them into a persuasive narrative tailored for the relevant audiences (customers, leadership, sales teams, etc.).

• Act as the authority on the CPT/Kitting portfolio, collaborating closely with sales teams, global sourcing teams, and other key stakeholders to meet the daily demands of the CPT/Kitting business, ensuring prompt resolution of issues with the appropriate cross-functional teams.

• Oversee the product portfolio and address requirements to sustain a superior value proposition.

• Keep track of the global marketplace and competitive landscape while gathering business intelligence.

• Execute VOC and market research to pinpoint needs, assess market/product viability, gauge market acceptance, and determine competitive pricing.

• Create and maintain claims, marketing materials, training documents, etc.

• Partner with Product Supply and Demand Planning teams to track demand forecasts against production capacity, ensuring sufficient inventory levels to meet current and anticipated demand while achieving working capital goals.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 10 years of prior business experience, ideally with at least 6 years in Marketing/Product Management; an MBA is preferred or equivalent experience is acceptable.

• Ability to assess the CPT/Kitting market landscape, evaluate potential opportunities, and formulate and implement comprehensive business plans.

• Clinical experience is preferred.

• Excellent analytical, decision-making, influencing, and communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations to large audiences.

• Proficiency in breaking down complex problems into structured action plans.

• Experience in analyzing extensive data sets and summarizing key insights to support decision-making.

• Capability to lead complex projects while managing cross-functional teams and monitoring progress against critical milestones.

• Proficiency in navigating a complex environment with conflicting priorities.

• Strong financial acumen is preferred, including familiarity with basic financial modeling.

• Demonstrated ability to evaluate needs, identify issues, summarize and present information/recommendations, and implement changes effectively.

• Willingness to travel approximately 25% for Supplier visits, Conferences, and Customer Meetings.
