This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Convert ideas and feedback into a clear product vision and roadmap.
• Understand customer challenges to gather user needs, requirements, and pain points.
• Gather and accurately convey user feedback to the Engineering team, providing evidence to support trade-offs and priorities.
• Collaborate closely with PMM to facilitate go-to-market strategies regarding product differentiation, which includes creating and updating presentations, documentation, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers.
• Leverage your extensive product knowledge to inform decisions related to our go-to-market strategies, pricing, packaging, licensing, and tiering.
• A BS/BA in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 7 years of experience in Product Management.
• More than 5 years of experience in a B2B SaaS product environment.
• Familiarity with using or developing developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services.
• Capability to discuss APIs, data models, schema evolution, and concepts related to distributed systems.
• Proven experience in promoting the adoption of shared services or platform capabilities across various product teams.
• Experience collaborating with Engineering and Design teams to create user-friendly products and features with effective UX in a fast-paced setting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across different functions.
• Bonus Points:
• Experience with open source software and/or commercial open source companies.
• Background in using or building observability products and/or developer tools, either internally as an SRE or for external clients.
• Proficient understanding of infrastructure concepts and components, such as Kubernetes, Cloud Service Providers, and VMs, and able to articulate these models in easily understandable terms.
• Familiarity with AI tools.
