This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Define and expand telematics partnership offerings, including OEM, aftermarket devices, and mobile SDK integrations that provide real-time data on vehicle health and driver behavior into service workflows.
• Lead the product strategy for ecosystem connectivity layers by managing device onboarding, data ingestion pipelines, and real-time telemetry APIs that activate predictive risk and service recommendations.
• Develop and enhance recommendation algorithms and scoring models using telematics data (such as speed, braking, engine diagnostics, DTC codes, and trip behavior) to deliver timely insights on maintenance, risk, and safety.
• Create an API/platform strategy that empowers third-party partners in service centers, insurance companies, fleet operators, and OEMs to effectively utilize and respond to telematics data at scale.
• Formulate the product strategy for the digital-to-physical service loop, converting telematics signals into actionable maintenance alerts, service appointments, and parts fulfillment workflows directed to physical locations.
• Establish data governance frameworks for partner data-sharing, normalization of raw signals, DTC interpretation, and transparency in scoring models.
• Bachelor’s degree; 8+ years of pertinent experience including 5+ years in management or leadership roles OR a Master’s degree; 6+ years of relevant experience with 4-5 years in management or leadership positions.
• Familiarity with data pipeline tools such as Kafka, Spark, and Airflow.
• Experience with machine learning/scoring platforms including Databricks, SageMaker, and DataRobot.
• Basic SQL skills; knowledge of Python or R for model evaluation is preferred.
• Proficiency with roadmapping tools (Productboard, Jira, Aha!), data/analytics platforms (Looker, Tableau, Amplitude), and A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, particularly in data storage, streaming, and compute services.
• Knowledge of microservices and containerized architectures, specifically Kubernetes and Docker.
