• Take full ownership of the Hosto Agent roadmap from start to finish — encompassing the journey from "the agent discovers revenue within the first two minutes of sign-up" to "the agent manages the property for a week without the host needing to open the app".
• Create conversational user experiences rather than mere screens — as most product decisions occur within chat: determining when the agent takes action versus when they ask questions, what issues get escalated, and how memory functions across different sessions and properties.
• Manage the new-host experience — design the post-signup journey where the agent reveals actual revenue before the host has adjusted any settings. Activation serves as the critical lever for everything that follows.
• Establish the agent's levels of autonomy — Autopilot, Co-pilot, Radar. Mismanagement can lead to host churn or anxiety. Success means Hosto can replace a $250/month human co-host.
• Deliver weekly updates alongside one engineering pod — produce specifications that directly translate into code. Eliminate slide decks from the process. Engage with hosts weekly — participate in demo calls, observe session replays, and conduct asynchronous feedback loops.
• Over 5 years of experience in product management, with a minimum of 2 years spent fully owning a 0→1 product from inception to execution.
• Experience in shipping LLM-powered features in live environments — not just prototypes or demos. You are knowledgeable about prompt budgets, evaluation loops, autonomy guardrails, and the challenges that arise at scale.
• Analytical mindset focused on funnels — activation, trial, conversion, retention. You can independently construct models in spreadsheets.
• Strong convictions regarding agentic user experiences — derived from hands-on use of the latest AI tools, rather than theoretical knowledge.
• Proficient in writing specifications that facilitate shipping — concise, decision-focused, and devoid of unnecessary embellishments.
• Quantitative proficiency — comfortable navigating spreadsheets, interpreting SQL, or requesting appropriate queries.
• Native or near-native English proficiency — the target customer is the US solo host, and product copy resides within the agent.
• Regular use of AI tools in your workflow (Cursor / Claude Code / equivalent) — not just as a novelty.
• Will personally conduct user calls, rather than delegating this responsibility.
• Comfortable making product decisions in a startup environment where the roadmap may shift mid-sprint.
• This role is not suited for you if you require a team of PMs, designers, and analysts to ship products.
• If you view AI merely as a feature to incorporate, rather than a foundational UX paradigm to design around.
• If you have spent the last three years working within a structured process at a company with over 1000 employees.
• If "talking to users" feels like a task assigned to others.
• Fully remote work environment — operate from anywhere equipped with premium tools and a software stipend.
• Competitive salary plus performance-related bonuses — base salary with additional incentives linked to activation, retention, and the agent metrics you will oversee.
• Significant equity stake — you will own a vital part of the company's core vision, and your compensation package reflects this.
• Be the first PM in the organization — shape the role and influence how product development is executed at Hosto.
