Senior Product Manager – Energy Products, Quoting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for Energy Products & Quoting, ensuring alignment with ENSEK's customer commitments, international growth, and the industry's transition to flexible and dynamic pricing.

• Guide the advancement of the platform's product modeling and quoting features to enhance support for contemporary energy offerings: time-of-use tariffs (both static and dynamic), multi-rate frameworks, export products, agile pricing, and bundled solutions.

• Advocate for the incorporation of AI throughout the product domain, from smart product recommendations and pricing optimization to AI-assisted catalog management, aiming for an AI-enabled energy operating framework.

• Propel international product capabilities, ensuring that energy products and quoting can be tailored and configured for new regulatory environments without the need for custom development.

• Ensure the strategy achieves its intended outcomes in line with company objectives, utilizing data to challenge assumptions and proactively adapting based on user insights, customer data, competitive analysis, and regulatory changes.

• Create value through evidence: contributing to business cases, applying commercial analysis for make vs. buy vs. partner decisions, and assisting others in making value-driven prioritization choices.

• Mentor and enhance the product management skills within your team, contributing to the broader product community, and promoting AI literacy and capability development.

• Represent Energy Products & Quoting at a senior stakeholder level, engaging in customer-facing discussions with energy suppliers, safeguarding the team against unnecessary scope alterations while fostering long-term trust and alignment.

• Steer stakeholders through product lifecycle choices, using data to assess when to invest further, pivot, or phase out products and features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive product management experience with a proven track record in product catalogs, quoting, pricing, or CPQ platforms within energy, telecoms, insurance, financial services, or another industry characterized by complex, configurable product models.

• Proven experience in leading product strategy for platforms operating across multiple geographies or markets, including localization and regulatory adaptation in highly regulated sectors.

• In-depth knowledge of CPQ principles: product modeling, pricing regulations, eligibility criteria, bundling, versioning, and quote lifecycle management.

• Strong history of leveraging AI and data to inform product decisions, with a vision for how AI can revolutionize product configuration and pricing on a large scale.

• Established ability to mentor and develop Product Managers and influence senior stakeholders, including direct engagement with customers.

• Proficient in product management methodologies: strategy development, road-mapping, experimentation, and lifecycle management.

• Demonstrable experience in contributing to or spearheading business cases and commercial analysis.

• Familiarity with technical concepts (APIs, data models, configuration engines, pricing logic).
