Senior Product Manager – Customer Identity and Access Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop the product vision and roadmap for GEICO’s IAM platform, encompassing aspects such as authentication, authorization, federation, privileged access, and identity lifecycle.

• Convert intricate business and security requirements into straightforward product strategies and actionable features.

• Collaborate closely with cybersecurity, engineering, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure IAM capabilities that fulfill enterprise needs.

• Prioritize features and improvements based on risk, impact, and effort, utilizing data and stakeholder input to inform decisions.

• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory developments, and threat landscapes to ensure GEICO’s IAM platform remains modern and compliant.

• Lead cross-functional teams throughout the complete product lifecycle, from discovery and design to delivery and evaluation.

• Influence and gain alignment from executive stakeholders regarding product direction and outcomes.

• Mentor and guide junior product managers within the IAM domain.

• Ensure IAM solutions adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements, such as GDPR and CCPA.

• Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and continuously enhance IAM services for usability, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to identity and access management or related security domains.

• Extensive knowledge of IAM protocols and technologies including SAML, OIDC, OAuth, MFA, SCIM, PAM, and RBAC/ABAC.

• Proven experience in delivering IAM solutions at an enterprise scale, whether B2C or B2E.

• Strong strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to align product roadmaps with business objectives and security needs.

• Demonstrated ability to spearhead initiatives within complex, regulated environments.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field; an advanced degree is advantageous.

• Relevant IAM certifications and/or experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
