Senior Product Manager – Credit Risk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee and prioritize strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Risk team to ensure alignment with essential business objectives.

• Assist in the technical design and execution of decision-making models and platforms, collaborating closely with Risk, Engineering, and fellow PMs.

• Interpret and clarify technical specifications to ensure they are ready for the development phase.

• Regularly participate in departmental and product meetings to stay informed about how the efforts of Risk and other teams may influence the overall roadmap and organizational goals.

• Collaborate effectively with Marketing, Compliance, Bank Partnerships, Legal, and Engineering to ensure team alignment.

• Leverage data to assess and communicate the impact of projects, facilitate informed trade-offs, and steer decision-making at the departmental level.

• Serve as the primary source of knowledge regarding 'how the products function' from the perspectives of Risk, Marketing, Engineering, Compliance, and the Call Center.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management within the financial services sector.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects that necessitate coordination and alignment among multiple departments.

• Experience in drafting requirements for Engineering and other teams.

• Background in supporting or leading the implementation of decision engines or similar technical platforms.

• Strong capability to prioritize projects with varying objectives from different departments.

• Excellent skill in presenting ideas to department leaders using data and strategic insight.

• Proficient in translating customer needs to various teams.

• Strong analytical skills to assess the impact of projects on a product's success.

• Expertise in one of the following domains: Risk, Marketing, or Software Engineering.
