Senior Product Manager, Business Banking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in defining the product vision and strategy, while also owning and outlining roadmap initiatives for the Business Banking team.

• Take the lead in planning, development, launching, and experimenting to deliver exceptional features that our clients appreciate.

• Continue to monitor features after launch and design as well as implement enhancements to boost usage and adoption.

• Cultivate a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape within the Canadian business banking sector.

• Gain in-depth knowledge of all aspects of business banking, including payments, expense management, borrowing, cards, and more.

• Contribute to financial and growth modeling to evaluate product performance and forecast future growth.

• Leverage all available tools to foster client understanding and empathy.

• Aid in the development of top-notch systems and tools aimed at enhancing client experience and product uptake.

• Support a cross-functional team comprising engineers, designers, and data scientists.

• Collaborate with other engineering teams and departments within the company to create compliant, efficient, and industry-leading products and features.

• Contribute to the advancement of the Product Management practice at Wealthsimple and foster an inclusive and supportive team culture.

• Proven multi-year experience in building and delivering products that resonate with customers.

• Familiarity with small business and B2B products/services.

• A mindset focused on shipping and delivering outcomes.

• Sufficient technical knowledge to engage in discussions with engineers regarding architecture and technical considerations.

• A strong passion for financial inclusion and creating products that enhance access to financial freedom.

• Experience utilizing AI tools and a well-informed perspective on the most effective AI tools for Product Managers.

• Bonus: Experience in building, launching, iterating, and scaling products from inception to maturity over several years.
