• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Data Science, and domain leaders on intricate requirements, contributing a robust technical perspective to every discussion.
• Navigate through high-ambiguity discovery across various workstreams; excel in advanced qualitative and quantitative frameworks to invalidate assumptions early and redirect the team towards the most valuable opportunities.
• Oversee scope management, balance trade-offs, establish goals, prioritize tasks, and manage the feature backlog from story creation to acceptance using Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Assess off-the-shelf solutions and provide well-founded recommendations for build vs. buy strategies to enhance delivery and cost efficiency.
• Facilitate development efforts, timelines, and deliverables among product owners, project managers, program managers, and scrum masters.
• Lead technical design discussions, comprehend dependencies, and convey requirements to your team while considering performance, scalability, and security consequences.
• Set daily priorities for your team to ensure execution remains closely aligned with strategic goals.
• Make and communicate decisions based on data and evidence, promoting a culture of measurement and data collection within your team.
• Relay strategy, priorities, and the product roadmap to all pertinent participants and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prototype, test, learn, and deliver architecturally robust products and services.
• Bachelor's degree OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience OR equivalent relevant experience.
• 6-8 years of experience in product management developing B2C and B2B insurance products and services for a major carrier or insurtech.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with engineering, design, and QA teams.
• Proficient in navigating a multi-stakeholder environment, building consensus, and making timely decisions.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
• Utilizes AI to create repeatable workflows that synthesize research, strategy, and execution, resulting in actionable outputs that drive decision-making and expedite product delivery.
• Strong understanding of software development in at least two of the following areas: Cloud-Based Infrastructure, API/Backend Services, Data Platform/Data Science.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Comfortable working in a distributed work environment.
