Senior Product Manager – Application Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Establish the roadmap and spearhead the implementation of bot management solutions to align with customer requirements and market developments.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to create innovative and impactful cybersecurity solutions for the market.

• Interact with international clients to collect feedback, spot market opportunities, analyze competitors, and predict emerging trends.

• Develop an intuitive reporting and configuration interface that streamlines complex security operations through actionable, data-driven insights.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to convert customer needs into product architecture modifications that facilitate complex product initiatives.

• Influence architectural choices that maintain a balance between detection accuracy, performance, scalability, and user-friendliness across the platform.

• Formulate and execute the long-term strategy for the platform's bot management capabilities, ensuring a cohesive efficiency and experience across products and customer environments.

• Manage priorities and interdependencies among platform, detection, and infrastructure teams to implement large-scale, intricate initiatives.

• Stay informed about the competitive landscape and keep track of technological advancements and industry trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of product management experience with extensive expertise in cybersecurity.

• Strong understanding of application security (AppSec) principles.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Demonstrated ability to build effective cross-functional relationships, particularly with engineering teams.

• Experience working directly with customers to gather security feature requirements and feedback.

• Proven track record of managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.

• History of overseeing a product from design through to launch and scaling it to a significant user base.

• Capability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

• Comfortable working remotely across various international time zones.
