• Take charge of the strategy and roadmap for Mercuryo’s API products aimed at developers and the on-ramp platform.
• Create developer-friendly API experiences and specifications; ensure comprehensive, AI-ready integration documentation.
• Enhance developer onboarding and integration processes to minimize time to first success.
• Collaborate with clients to identify integration challenges and continuously enhance the developer experience (DX).
• Drive improvements in tooling and quality across APIs, SDKs, documentation structure, error handling, and sandbox/testing procedures.
• Prioritize tasks by balancing technical viability, business value, compliance needs, and usability considerations.
• Establish and monitor success metrics: API adoption, activation, integration speed, and overall developer satisfaction.
• Over 5 years of Product Management experience in fintech, infrastructure, developer platforms, API products, or technical SaaS offerings.
• Significant experience in developing APIs as a product, rather than just integrating them.
• Background in designing products for developers, integration workflows, or API documentation.
• Strong grasp of developer experience principles and API usability best practices.
• Comfortable working closely with engineers and discussing technical architecture and API functionality.
• Ability to convert complex technical/payment processes into straightforward product requirements and developer documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in stakeholder management.
• Possess an analytical and structured approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in payments, crypto, fintech, or API-first companies is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger, Postman, SDKs, API testing tools, or AI-assisted developer tools is a plus.
