Senior Product Engineer, Treasury – Elixir

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage Elixir/Phoenix services — including APIs, data pipelines, and asynchronous processing.

• Take full ownership of features from conception through to the front-end necessary for deployment.

• Prioritize reliability as a core principle for Tier 0/1 systems: encompassing observability, monitoring, and operational diligence.

• Leverage AI-assisted tools (particularly Claude Code) and contribute to shaping architecture, practices, and code review processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be based in the US and available to work during EST hours — you will be integrated with a treasury team operating in the EST time zone.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with a strong background in production-level Elixir and Phoenix.

• Capable of delivering features from start to finish — from product conception to front-end implementation — without requiring handoffs.

• Strong foundational knowledge in distributed systems, concurrency, and asynchronous processing.

• Proficient in PostgreSQL; practical experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Proven and fluent use of AI coding tools (especially Claude Code) in everyday work scenarios.

• Excellent communication skills across both technical and non-technical teams; fluent in English.
