Senior Product Engineer, Python, Typescript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of problems from start to finish, including discovery, ideation, delivery, and iteration.

• Develop and release high-quality product features utilizing Python and TypeScript.

• Work collaboratively with Product and Design teams to create user-focused solutions.

• Influence product decisions by providing technical insights regarding trade-offs and potential opportunities.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code across the entire stack.

• Strive for continuous enhancement of product performance, usability, and reliability.

• Engage in experimentation, A/B testing, and make decisions based on data.

• Be accountable for outcomes, emphasizing user and business impact rather than merely output.

⛳️ Requirements

• Python (5+ years) – extensive experience in building scalable backend systems and product features.

• Product Engineering experience (5+ years) – demonstrated history of working in product-driven teams at a product company (preferably scale-ups), managing features from inception to completion.

• TypeScript (2+ years) – experience in developing modern web applications with a focus on maintainability and user experience.

• Strong background in delivering features within cross-functional product teams (Product, Design, Engineering).

• Proven ability to think beyond coding, contributing to product direction and user outcomes.

• Experience in fast-paced, iterative environments, delivering frequently and learning from user feedback.

• Strong grasp of user-centric development and product-oriented thinking.

• Capacity to take ownership and responsibility in uncertain problem-solving contexts.
