Senior Product Engineer – Maschinenbau

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Key technical contact for demanding clients in high-tech future industries.

• Assessment of new and complex customer inquiries regarding technical feasibility and economic viability.

• Technical support from the design and concept phase through to series production.

• Development of economically and technically optimal manufacturing strategies, including make-or-buy decisions.

• Coordination of technical alignment between sales, production, purchasing, quality, research, and development.

• Assumption of final technical responsibility for complex products and assemblies.

• Coordination of internal and external technical interfaces to ensure informed decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed education in mechanical engineering, such as HTL, FH, or TU.

• Several years of professional experience in development design, product development, or custom machine and plant engineering.

• Practical experience in design, manufacturing, or joining technology with a solid understanding of tolerances and technical feasibility.

• Experience in project management or technical leadership of interdisciplinary teams.

• Very good CAD skills as well as experience with PDM, PLM, or ERP systems.

• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style with strong logical thinking abilities.

• High level of personal responsibility, hands-on mentality, and confident presence as a technical interface.

• Proficiency in German and English at a negotiation level.
