
Senior Product Engineer – Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of intricate features from problem identification to delivery, defining scope, navigating uncertainties, and making trade-offs throughout the product lifecycle.
• Design and develop rich, high-performance user experiences for identity management, security, secure content sharing, resource management, and data access workflows.
• Connect complex multi-step user flows into cohesive and intuitive experiences.
• Construct and maintain both frontend and backend services across desktop applications, web frontends, APIs, and backend systems.
• Implement a security-focused approach to frontend and full-stack development, encompassing authentication processes, authorization boundaries, and data classification.
• Advocate for frontend performance, focusing on bundle size, rendering efficiency, perceived speed, and responsiveness.
• Leverage modern development workflows, including AI-assisted tools, to speed up iteration and enhance quality.
• Contribute to a data studio experience that presents platform data to users effectively.
• Collaborate with platform, integrations, and infrastructure teams on identity and security interfaces.
• Engage in design reviews and contribute to discussions about technical direction and architecture.
• Produce high-quality, thoroughly tested code with a focus on reliability, accessibility, and performance.
• Over 8 years of professional software engineering experience with substantial expertise in frontend and full-stack product development.
• Strong command of React and TypeScript.
• Profound knowledge of frontend performance optimization, including rendering, state management, bundle efficiency, and perceived performance.
• Capability to work effectively across the entire stack, linking polished user interfaces to backend services.
• Experience with Go and/or Python for backend services, and a willingness to work in both languages.
• Proficiency with modern developer tools and AI-assisted workflows.
• Skill in breaking down ambiguous scopes into deliverable increments.
• Experience in security-sensitive UI domains such as identity, access control, permissions, or data classification is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with desktop application development using Electron or similar technologies is a plus.
• Strong product intuition and a user-centered mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident residing within the United States.
