Senior Product Engineer, Backend – Node.js, Go

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance the backend infrastructure for Dash0's Agentic AI Platform, primarily utilizing Node.js and Go for high-performance components.

• Collaborate with AI engineers to refine agentic workflows, providing the advanced software engineering expertise needed to ensure AI models are reliable and efficient in production environments.

• Design and advance our security framework for executing untrusted and potentially hazardous code.

• Share responsibility for platform stability, proactively identifying technical risks and ensuring that monitoring and observability metrics are of the highest standard.

• Create new methodologies for agentic services, encompassing distributed systems design, asynchronous debugging, and resilience in production.

• Guide fellow engineers on backend best practices and play a role in shaping the technical direction of the Agent0 product roadmap.

• Extensive experience in Node.js and proficiency in Go.

• Solid understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous architectures, and production reliability.

• A genuine passion for AI and a desire to experiment within a fast-evolving domain.

• Experience in designing security measures for environments where untrusted code execution poses a risk.

• Proficient in utilizing AI and agentic coding tools to speed up development while upholding high technical standards.

• Excellent communication abilities with an emphasis on documentation and knowledge sharing.
