Senior Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical liaison for demanding clients in progressive, high-tech sectors.

• Assess new and intricate customer inquiries for both technical feasibility and financial viability.

• Offer technical assistance from the design and conceptual stages all the way through to mass production.

• Formulate manufacturing strategies that are both technically sound and economically viable, including make-or-buy evaluations.

• Facilitate technical coordination among Sales, Production, Purchasing, Quality, Research, and Development teams.

• Take ultimate technical responsibility for complex products and assemblies.

• Manage both internal and external technical interfaces to ensure well-informed decision-making.


⛳️ Requirements

• Completed education in mechanical engineering, such as HTL, University of Applied Sciences (FH), or Technical University (TU).

• Several years of professional experience in design engineering, product development, or specialized machine/plant engineering.

• Hands-on experience in design, manufacturing, or joining technology, along with a strong understanding of tolerances and technical manufacturability.

• Background in project management or technical leadership of interdisciplinary teams.

• Proficient in CAD software and experienced with PDM, PLM, or ERP systems.

• Methodical, analytical, and solution-focused work approach with strong logical reasoning skills.

• High level of personal accountability, practical mindset, and confident presence as a technical contact.

• Proficient in German and English at a business-fluent (negotiation) level.
